Name: Echizen Ryoma

Personality: Snarky and rude, Echizen is the perfect - worst? - example of what a boy can turn out to be with no parental supervision. Allowed to run wild and free under on the island, the only authority he respects is that Seigaku's head lost boy, and even that is sometimes speculated about.

The only thing Echizen cares for is proving that he's the best, in whatever is given to him, and he'll work hard to accomplish that - it's the only thing he will work hard at. There's nothing else in him, at least not yet, that wishes to do something other than stupidly challenge bigger and stronger opponents to mock duels, swimming contests, and even eating contects. He doesn't care much for the rest of the island, which is his 'world', and will treat those he's won against as if they didn't exist. When he's not challenging someone to a duel, he's either found sleeping, curled up with the cat he adopted and named "Karupin", or spending time with his clan, who are the only people he lets himself care for.
